Faida is the daughter of Monica Lynne and adopted daughter of the Black Panther in Black Panther Vol 3 #36 "The Once and Future King". In this reality, Wakanda became more isolationist, cutting ties with the US.
Faida was not accepted as part of the Wakandan royal family due to her conceptual discrepancy. It was implied that she was bore through her mother being raped by Achebe, which apparently led to T'Challa and Monica's divorce. But in truth, she was the illegitimate offspring through one of the King's most jaundiced of enemies; a former member of his court guard. Something which left the bitterest of memories in T'challa's mouth, so much so that he disavowed her as any offspring of his; much less a scion to the throne of Wakanda. She was slain by her half-brother T'Charra while on the hunt for her father's friend and Confidante in America; Everette Ross, she would be found tied to a Saint Mary statue in an abandoned cathedral by her father; with a note indicating whom her killer was. Both father and child would make peace in the afterlife, with T'challa apologizing and saying he loved her as a daughter throughout his journey.
