Kala Sparks is the daughter of Supergirl and Gary Sparks, in a simulated future seen in Action Comics #370 (December 1968).
Supergirl has a crush on college playboy Gary Sparks. He's not interested in Linda Lee Danvers, but he is interested in Supergirl. So she romantically pursues him as Supergirl and even promises to marry him, but her parents are concerned, so she uses a Prognostron to view their future together.
They have a daughter named Kala who inherits her mother's powers and needs to be supervised so she doesn't destroy the house, but Gary neglects her. Supergirl builds a robot to act as her nanny. After Gary turns it off, Supergirl starts carrying Kala with her on missions to keep an eye on her.
Gary also won't get a job, and cheats on his wife. After seeing all this, Supergirl sabotages the relationship.
